In a perfect world we would never have to fight for racial justice or social justice because in a PERFECT world everyone would be treated equally. Well, that is not the world we live in sadly. You asked me what social justice means to me and I can answer that. For example, women fought for social justice for years and still do till this day. Back then women were made for the “kitchen” and no one thought that women should have a say in anything, but men could. As wrong as that was women have done so much good and fought for social justice that generations after their lifetime did not have to worry like oh, I cannot vote or did not have a right to a job. Sadly, we still must fight for social justice in todays world.

With that being said not having racial justice is an even bigger problem in our world. With everything happing in todays world it showed me how much we still need to fight for racial justice. I am thankful for social media opening up my eyes about how racial justice is still being fought for and how cruel people can be too other just because of the color of their skin, Which is sickening. Even though it has gotten better over the years thankfully, the fight still is not over. People need to remember just because you do not see problems with social and racial justice around you do not mean it is not happing bad in the world, which is sad to say. We all wish we could live in a perfect world where everyone from the start could have been raised to treat each other equally but we don’t so until then keep your eyes open of how we can help with the fight of social and racial justice.
